you know, you read this stuff and feel like McCain has already been written off. If he is such an ineffectual candidate, than what about all that blather that he was the only candidate that had a chance in a year when the Republican brand had been trashed by Bush?

What chance? The guy's faded and we're not even through the convention. Talk about a non-campaign.

So we're left without a candidate that we're enthusiastic about and a guy who looks like he can't even put up a good fight in a general election. In retrospect, I would have taken anybody else if they could at least turn it into a horse race.

Obama's European trip already feels like a coronation, at least by our controlled media.
