That speaks mostly for Homestake, which agreeably had a very special situation, not necessarily for POG...all we know is that the POG increased from $20 in late 1920's to
35 in 1934...increase of 70%...had to be 35, for our govt told us so...really, we do know that at 20.00 gold left the US Treasury in the 1920's and then in 1934 gold started coming into treasury until 1940's...gold was too cheap in 1920's at 20.67 and too expensive from 1934 until 1940's.
