I hope you got reimbursed for that second chimney? The only place we've ever had a leak in the roof was.......................guess???? ;) We ended up putting on a new roof............the one we replaced was 24 yrs old and shake. Then we had NG gas installed and replaced our wood burner for a gas fireplace...........which I'm starting to regret with the high bills coming in. We have cords d and cords of wood at our disposal and I'd be inclined to heat the house with it. Hubby might not like that idea since he'd be the person responsible for making it fit the stove. He's got better things to do with his time.
