Speaking of backing accidents, I did that to my super clean Buick about a month ago. Backed into an illegally parked flat bed truck. I just touched it and stopped immediately. I put a dent in my trunk lid about the size of a quarter and no deeper than a quarter of an inch. But, the metal is stretched and the best estimate to fix it is $230 and 2 or 3 days in the shop. That car is spotless and I baby it to keep it that way... so, I'll pay to make it new again.
