Roche (SWX: ROG) might be a future buyer catching significant future growth and avoiding milestones twice the actual value of swedish partner BioInvent International AB (OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm: BINV) as it seeks to boost its portfolio. Both Genentech and Roche have partnerships with BioInvent International. A bid for the swedish pharmaceutical company focused on antibodies might eventually save billions in annual royalties related to Roche partnership TB-403 and from an agreement with Genentech on BI-204. Roche Holdings today announced it will pay 125 million dollars to buy American company Mirus Bio Corporation afp.google.com
