I listened to bloomberg last night. Very interesting. One speaker made the point that the US NEEDS inflation to mitigate their deficit problem and will do anything to avoid deflation.

So the speaker said they are investing in things which respond to inflation.

He also felt the 3 billion new 3rd world consumers will overide the housing debacle?

He also felt inlfaiton would run 4 to 6% in the US for a long time.
