My experience has shown that this is very dependent on the individual. I think it is foolish to conclude that the results apply to you. I am on a high carb very low fat diet and am slim. I eat no refined foods and the only animal products that I consume are egg whites and non fat dairy. I have low LDL, low cholesterol, low triglycerides and high HDL. When I add chicken or fish to my diet, my cholesterol and LDL increase noticeably and my HDL decreases. Through experimentation I have found what works best for me.
