Tom, remember your comments on BT/MCI. That seemed big time. It is heating up with WCom etc. It must be good for NextWave who should be well positioned in the starting blocks now despite the auction/FCC debacle. Also therefore good for Qualcomm. Big Q-phone delivery backlog according to the previous post. A fun little 10 year anniversary stock market tumble today and maybe on Monday to celebrate the 87 crash, which will give buying opportunity before the Qualcomm annual results are out. Are we now addicted to good news and it takes trucksfull to satisfy us? It used to be that any one of the multitude of good stories coming out would cause a $2 jump in Qcom price. Now it seems to be all a bit ho-hum. Never mind. Buy, buy, buy. Really, what do you think of subscriber pricing by auction? A handset "CURRENT PRICE IS ....." display. It's buzzing round in my head, won't go away and it seems not to be very interesting to anyone. People love a bargain and they buy heaps of stuff they hardly want when it is really cheap. When they see the "FREE CALLING" sign flashing, they'll be gossiping to anyone just to use the system. A price squeeze is what will finish GSM and generate enormous call volumes.
