Is he suffering from dementia?

Not likely because he's 46, not 71. That's not to say it isn't possible. My aunt was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's when she was 42 or 45 and she was dead by 52. However its not likely.

I know you think I am taking partisan potshots at McCain over this issue but I am not. I really think he's at the early stages of dementia. When he talks impromptu, he sounds very hesistant.....like he can't remember what he wants to say. Its something to which we need to pay attention. And I think its very sad.

Its rather ironic......HW Bush is 84 and can talk circles around McCain. He seems as mentally strong as someone much younger.
