STMicro narrows second quarter net loss eetimes.com article: The year-ago revenue figure excludes its Flash Memories Group segment, which is now a part of Numonyx, an independent semiconductor company created in March 2008 by ST, Intel Corp and Francisco Partners. me: How do they get away with excluding Numonyx results? Are Eruo GAAP rules different from U.S.? It's hard to believe that Numonyx did anything good to STMs bottom line with them having to absorb 51% of Numonyx's losses.
