it may or may not have worked without surge but surge showed tribal dudes we were serious and wes clark said today that saudis were there helping them do this and might have happened anyway. I have a big problem not with mccains intellect but his age. He may be too old to be pres and i might have to cast my vote solely on that basis for obama. OF course if i vote for OB i will say a prayer but you can grow out of inexperiecne but cant fight old age re: its affect on the mind. Maybe mccain should pick someone who can be both elected and serve as a good president as veep and then bow out. (g) Is there such a republican who could win?
