Ann,
quite right. Let the market celebrate its 87 anniversary with the spook today. I reshuffled my portfolio and bought more NANO instead of ITN, STMD, SFLX, TPRO (the latter is still a fine company but off my currrent focus). It's outright funny: I'm UP on this down day (due to PCTH, NANO, CTU).

I think the NAZ has strong support at 1650 and 1635. First is 50 day MVA, latter is old resistance now acting as support. INTC 3 missing cents will eventually be found and the market will return to business as usual.

In this environment I strongly suggest to look at value criteria in addition to ANY growth play: FTEL (high risk but the beef is definitely there), NANO, PCTH, USS are nicely on track. Also turnaround candidates should be given a look if they are in the black next earnings time, like USSB - which is in a promising industry (Sat TV & comm). Your MINI is not a bad vehicle either. Also strong value-backed financials are worth a look: SFC is my current favourite here.

After 3-4 weeks turn to those disk-drive plays again. QNTM & WDC both look promising IMO. Also I will try to find nice entry points for some stocks I watch regularly.

Summing up Your argument is very valid. This press coverage had negative effects on market psychology. This will be disgested however. Good entry point: END OF NEXT WEEK...

best wishes
CROSSY
