Bill, re CPQ and INTC

Just my very humble opinion, risk is still very high 'till after we get earnings and the reaction to earnings from MSFT and IBM. IBM in particular traded very badly today. A dissapointment from either and I think we have more of the selling we have seen this week. Even meeting expectations might not help. I wouldn't dare to guess a low for CPQ or Intel, although someone I respect said they would be buying Compaq in the low 60's, I would probably do the same depending on the market at the time. As for Intel, I would cost average in when it becomes unbearable not to buy, but not counting on a quick profit.

Regardless of the reality the sentiment has changed towards the tech stocks. I agree with Ibexx that we will see a rally into Christmas, I have no idea when or at what price that will start.

Good luck,

John
