Had lunch with Hanabal today and he showed me that. If I was 20 years younger, and not convinced that they are all donorcycles, I might get one for work. Could probably get 8 months service a year out of it, although it would be pretty cold on a March night when it was about 25 degrees.
However, since I work Thurs, Friday, and then 13 more weeks, why bother? My driving should drop by 80%.

Hanabal told me that their gym is now in escrow. As much as I liked the idea of them owning it, I was equally worried about their ability to run it during a bad economic times. Syracuse was watching the latest county med marijuana initiative (cut the county limit down from 25 to 6 plants, altho the constitutionality is somewhat in doubt), and, when it passed, that was the last straw for him. He thinks, probably correctly, that dope money has been the driving economic power behind the county, and this will impact discretionary spending. (Also, I don't have to worry about the energy consumption, and what I could do about it.)

Also, Hanabal is thinking about getting rid of his backhoe, in favor of a smaller one he can haul with a pick-up. The current one is only a backhoe, and he can find smaller models that accept attachments, like post hole augers, and mowers, so that he can find more work.
