I am an Intensive care surgeon at the Montreal General Hospital. One of our CV surgeons is using the device and has done several to date (this is how I initially heard about the company). His success to date has been good. Only one of the patients (out of about 5-6) needed to be converted to a traditional open procedure.

Unfortunately I heard about the company too soon, and bought at 20$. However I think that as more surgeons hear about this, and more ORs are done the stock will likely respond appropriately.

HeartPort is also in the same business, but their technique requires the use of percutaneous bypass. This is more involved surgery, but also allows more than a single LAD bypass. Therefore they are less competing, but more parallel techniques.
