Intel is launching Neheham even though the mother board will not be ready for the launch. Basically Intel is not ready for the launch. Intel is doing whatever possible to make sure AMD will not gain market share with 45nm Shanghai. Bringing the Neheham launch forward is one way to reduce the impact of Shanghai. Shanghai is going to be very competitive the to the current Quad core. I am not saying Intel has no intention to kill AMD. I believe Intel will try to kill AMD before the lawsuit go to the courts but bringing Neheham launch forward is not going to kill AMD.
