The US is sitting on more oil and coal than anyone else in the world.

No we are not. Everyone knows that the Saudis are sitting on more oil than everyone. We are at best sitting on 3-4 years worth of supply. If you still think you are right, then back up your claim with numbers and references.

To push for everyone to ride around in golf carts waiting on the wind to blow is ridiculous.

No one is pushing folks to ride around in golf carts. The latest electric car technology is far superior. I'll point you to Tesla Motors and GM Volt for some rudimentary research into your false claim.

When Al Gore, the chief greenie parks his limo, his SUVs, and moves out of his 10000 sq ft house that uses 20 times the energy of the average American home, then I might consider his rhetoric worth listening to.

Clearly you aren't aware that Al Gore has his home outfitted with solar panels to offset his energy usage and for energy he uses that comes from non-green sources, he purchases carbon offsets, so that he is close to carbon neutral.
