I am aware that there was significant outrage at the thought of this neophyte senator speaking at the Brandenburg Gate, and that is the reason he was refused permission.


Not to mention the various love parades and even a live broadcast of a soccer game on large TV screens.

Were they all arrogant?


They weren't using the location for political gain. That was the reason for the outrage. I think most Americans don't understand the significance of it, but those who did were highly offended. I previously posted, and you commented on, the remarks of some Americans who felt that outrage.

I agree the Left didn't feel that way, because he is the new Messiah.
