I doubt STM was making a profit off the operational portion of their Numonyx share. It would make them look like fools for selling off the business and invite close scrutiny by the shareholders, of which we heard nothing.

Those $10m may be the leftovers of their cash payout for the Francisco shares after discounting the operating losses, though.
