Listen to the conference call. You can still get a replay. What triggered the massive selling was general nervousness and the downgrades, which as downgrades go, were relatively mild. If you listen to the conference call for yourself, I think you'll feel more confident about the stock than the analyst downgrades and the price action today might otherwise make you feel. Actually, I think the rebound in the last two hours back above 38 bodes well. On a p/e basis the stock is not over-valued and I don't think a significant drop from here would last very long, even if MSFT's earnings are disappointing.
