SPSN: Short Interest UP 16.0% to 20.0M in Mid Jul 2008 Thursday , July 24, 2008 16:22ET According to new short interest data from NASDAQ, short interest for Spansion, Incorporated Class A (NasdaqNM: SPSN) INCREASED 16.0% to 20,022,266 shares as reported in mid-July, 2008. Based on SPSN's 20-day average daily share volume of 1,670,860, it would require approximately 12 day(s) of buying to cover this short interest. ---- A new record. SPSN obviously remains a darling of short investors.
