Boone agrees with you. Says NG is just a bridge to alternatives. Proposes moving fleet and government vehicles to NG as a bridge. The technology is here now, been here for 40 years. Says we have about a 30 year supply of NG. Domestic. No NG mandate for personal vehicles. Says it's fine to drill the OCS and anwar as well. At current rate of consumption there is only about 50 years max left of oil in the world. So eventually fossil fuels will have to be phased out as primary fuel. Oh well there went Gores global warming cause. Sorry Al. Important thing is get us off foreign oil, now. $700 Billion is being sent overseas each year for oil that being burned in less than 4 months. Talk about the biggest transfer of wealth in hustory. What will happen when the rest of the OCS and anwr is approved for drilling is the price of crude will drop. The important thing is to keep the petal to the metal while alternatives are developed to prevent going off the cliff later.
