I think the congressional (D)'s should come up with a bill that allows Anwar and OCS drilling, with environmental safeguards, if the government makes a SERIOUS commitment to auto efficiency, alternative autos, wind, solar and geothermal. Not just a promise, but long term programs, fully specified and funded, targeted to get us OFF oil.
