Also more generally I've never maintained the the government is all a bunch of useless idiots. Give them the level or resources that they have received and they are bound to in some cases do some serious good.

That isn't much of an argument that they should do more, or receive more resources.

Well that's your argument you are arguing against, not mine.

This country IS the government, and the government IS this country. From the constitution to the rule of law to all the physical and social infrastructure that allows us all to make a good buck. What you think all this shit happens by accident?

My God get over yourself... just thank your lucky stars you were born in a country with our EXCEPTIONAL government.
