We should have gone to war with them right after the Gulf War was over as soon as we realized he was going to be a problem. But Clinton did not have the stomach for it and didn't understand why it should not be tolerated. What the hell? HW refused to attack Saddam because he knew that it would create a huge mess. To prove to his father he was not the loser his father thought he was, GW did exactly what his father refused to do. We now know how smart and visionary his father was and how incredibly stupid his son is.
