Off-Topic except for Spots,

Peter Lugers is in Brooklyn, just across the Williamsburgh Bridge from Manhattan you'll need to take a taxi. 5-10 min from Financial District.

Although NY has huge #s of great places (expensive) here are 2 others nearish the financial district I recommend highly

1) The River Cafe (also in Brooklyn) - the food is excellent/superb Continental it's directly under the Brooklyn Bridge and the window tables (highly recommended) look out over the East River into the downtown Wall Street area, as well as, the Statue of Liberty. Try to get reservations to sit about 1/2 before sundown and watch it set over Manhattan and then the lights come up.

2) Hudson River Club - American/Continental food, views are spectacular, it's in the World Financial Center and the windows lokk out over a small chic yacht basin and the Hudson River while viewing the Statue of Liberty. Good choice for Sunday bruch too.
