I can legally refuse to hire a person because he is gay; I cannot refuse to hire a person because he/she is black. This is a totally ridiculous dichotomy because, on average, the gay guy is going to be a better employee than the black person, if for no other reason than gay men tend to dress well and be very well groomed.
