Maurice- Ira's "shrinking cell" story on the Frezza thread makes it sound like CDMA already adjusts capacity among cells which makes the auctioning issue less important in terms of adjusting capacity among cells at the same time of the day. Therefore, the auction price would only help to price capacity at different times of day. Since this might be fairly much the same from day to day it could be that simply different prices for different times of day (as long distance companies do now) would accomplish much the same thing. (Except for the benefit of the flashing light "FREE CALLS" stimulating additional demand much like the "Blue Light Special" at Kmart). Do you have KMarts down there?
