I watched most of the interview between Brokaw and Obama.

Brokaw would ask a direct question. Obama would not answer and ramble off evading the original question.

My first impression was that Brokaw was asking some tough direct questions and that he, Brokaw, was not happy with Obama's talking to evade the question Brokaw ask.

As I continued watching it appeared to me that Brokaw finallly gave up and let Obama ramble.
