Derek, I will be leaving snow country soon. Next week I will close shop here and go to my brother's place for a few weeks. I will finally get to use my x2 modem on my CPU (used it on his Apple) with a x2 ISP. However, after about the third week in Nov through Thanksgiving I will be missing from SI as I will be on the East coast visiting a sister. My brother bought an x2. Using mine convinced him. Half the time with mine he got 49 1/3 baud, half 50 2/3. With his, he got 50 2/3 seven times and 52 once, in his first 8 connections. Am taking my x2 to FL and will report around the 1st of Dec. We are sort of in a no win situation with MSFT and IBM on Monday. If they meet expectations but don't blow them away, the market growls. o~~~ O
