Manny, I would agree with you that this charge in England, without knowing more, appears ridiculous. Often, in this country, too, I've seen news stories similar to this. Later either the charges were dropped or it turned out there were extenuating circumstances that actually justified the charges. In the same vein, what do you think about the shooting in Texas? The man who shot two people burgling his next door neighbors house. He ordered them to stop and when they ran away he shot them each in the back and killed them. The victims were Hispanics and the shooter wasn't charged or fined.
