Record budget of $482 billion? Does it include the cost of the Iraq quagmire? Those costs are kept off-budget so we can pretend that our real deficit is not so bad.

Off-budget accounting was what got us into the present financials mess as well. The corporations were only doing what their government was doing.

Not to worry. The government will make all the problems go away by printing as many dollars as are needed! ;-)
