You didn't get my joke? We were debating Muslim attributes and the subject of 'honor' killing, which is on the rise in this country.
I linked to a story about a murderer who claims, improperly, to be a Christian. Unlike Islam, there is no Christian teaching for revenge, honor killing, jihad, or anything of the sort. Therefore, someone who kills in the name of Christianity, whether it be at an abortion clinic or a church that welcomes gays, is no more than the devil incarnate.
Most Center folk would assume that ManyMoose would object to an 'honor' killing done in the name of Allah, therefore I turned the tables by posting an objection to a completely different sort of murderer.
Both are killers.
Perhaps ManyMoose's sense of humor is too droll. At least he has one. Whether you know it or not, about half of the posts I make that you calling trolling are no more than jokes to see what kind of reaction I get.

The answer to this is yes. I don't make a habit of it, but many are the times I've objected to such over the years. Just recently I defended a person who was trying to escape some of her more liberal prejudices against someone who is decidedly prejudiced the other way but with whom I basically agree. Perhaps I should be more vocal. |
