and refineries..but its easier to build ships and refineries in the short run than algores 10 year plan that involves gas prices in the $7-$8 range which is a depression causer imho. Gas prices will be $7-8 per gal in ten years if we don't start doing something now. While drilling our way out of the problem looks great on paper, in reality its not very doable. In the short term, I think conservation is the way to go; in the longer term, keep pushing the development of electric and hybrid car as well as alternative energy sources.
