Hi Mike,

you wrote-

That's just another reason that I like GEOY. Their launch of a $500 million satellite on 22 August has a 95% chance of success. The launch vehicle has at least 80 consecutive successful launches. If it does succeed, I think the shorts are toast. I was thinking that maybe these shorts are a hedge against call options written in the event the launch is a success.

Is that a plausible way to hedge in case of a launch failure?

In any event, note that GEOY only has a $382 million market cap, so if this puppy gets up into orbit successfully and deploys successfully, it would be selling at way under book value at today's price.
