All discussions about economy are based on unprecise numbers and unprecise knowledge. Therefore, everything is about probabilities: What is the chance of a recession/serious situation/recovery etc. Imbalances influence probabilities.

Agreed, the biggest and sometimes the most difficult to predict is human behavior. Cause and effect.... The propensity to save or spend or even change lifestyle. All these things have not only ripple effect but multiplier effects as well.

Personally, I'm getting tired of this consumerism society that we have created.... tired of cell phones....
tired of meaningless television broadcast.... endless solicitations to sift thru. Maybe some fundamental
reorganization of priorities might be a good thing/
