Great predictions. Wanted to just add a couple of others:

(1) There is the remote, but still possible event that shareholders (including institutional holders) revolt and vomit at the thought of "Stock Option Compensation Plan From Hell v4.5". I really can't see how management will get the votes, given that everyone can see all the upside getting siphoned out of the company right now. Institutional holders need to stock to go up to get their bonuses as well, so I'm expecting (well hoping anyway) that their will be a lot more scrutiny. (I voted no on the last one, but who cares about the individual holders anyway)

(2) Probably a better possibility is that management finds a PE firm to team up with to take the company private (right after they reveal some bad news, but right before the reveal some unbelievably great technology breakthrough)
