My dad was Irish and Scottish and mom was Irish and Welsh which makes me 50% Irish and 25% Catholic and 75% Protestant.
Mom and dad were disowned by both sides for eloping. I do remember being at Grandpa's wake and seeing drunk uncles punch each other out over the corpse while we hid under the table in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
