Around here in New Jersey, there is little doubt we are in a recession officially, no matter what they may try to tell us.
People are generally depressed, go out less, spend less, drive less, party less, losing jobs and homes, etc, etc.
And most importantly, the "employer arrogance meter" is way up, as they keep telling everybody how lucky they are to have a job these days. (in other words, work harder or your next)
