Yeah, they're going to try and do it, and it is awfully unpopular with people. I hate the 55 mph speed limit; it is utterly absurd to have this arbitrarily low figure shoved down our throats.

Honestly, if it costs me more to drive 80 (and I doubt it does -- my car seems to get about the same mileage either way, and it has far more to do with WHERE I'm driving than it does the speed at which I drive), then if I want to pay for the gas how is that the freaking government's business?


So, dude, you think you're above the law? You don't have to obey speed limits now? Just for the record......you're not above the law, but I understand if you think you are......so did Ted Stevens and a bunch of other Republicans. It seems to be in your DNA.

And I can't wait til they SHOVE 55 MPH down your throat! ;-)
