Back in 2000-2005 I was loaded with miners and some deep
storage stuff cause it looks nice, but most physical long was
on some account. Then I had some stuff in t-bills as well.
There was little reason to worry about
the imminent systemic crisis. Right now the credit bubble
has popped, there is a valid reason to worry about that,
so I decided to move the stuff from account to deep storage
this past December. If wants to keep a large cash account, I'd
certainly put it in T-bills. I suppose nothing bad happens
if you made some money and then your broker or banks collapses.
30% of these institutions will likely fail before it's over.
If we get a dollar run, then it could be worse.
