An organization like the Black AIDS project would have more credibility if it directed its effort against modifying the behavior of its constituency rather than trying to scarf up public and donated funds. <<

The question is not whether they are accumulating funds, but what they're doing with the funds they accumulate. I don't think members of the Black AIDS Project are getting rich. I'd bet that they spend the money that comes in on providing medical care for the people in their community who are already infected with HIV, and on other things that assist them.

And don't they also have an educational outreach program, trying to teach people what they need to know to prevent infection?
