802.11n can receive any packet at any rate; to improve far STA voice, a lower modulation and coding may be used (11g BPSK OFDM 6 Mbps), compared to a nearby STA that uses 16 QAM or even 64 QAM. Network performance findings using 11a/g will be pertinent for 11n small voice packets.
