I always thought Ice-T did a much better and more realistic job in his role on SUV than that idiot Belcher.

However I have seen some terribly political left-wing presentations on that show in recent days. Not Ice-T but the entire concept of torture etc and dropping the blame on the US. Also lame shows of Nepalese people fighting oppression etc.

I do get a huge kick out of how they fill the plot. The captain walks in and the detectives criss cross the screen all dropping relative lines of information until the captain says to go get em lol It is so hilarious because they do it nearly every show. That type of scene should be on Saturday Night Live. It is ripe for the picking!

I will say that SUV is one of the most realistic investigative shows on the television. Criminal intent is so stupid with that male detective pushing people around, being childishly sarcastic and always winning. He is the type who would never get results.

Maybe I am biased after being in The Special Investigations Unit for 25 years of a 32 yr or so career. I don't forgive Ice-T for his prior rap cop killer waxing, but I do think he could have turned out worse lol

BTW they do portray the prosecutors very well. They show the detail necessary in a case and they also show how some young prosecutors find it difficult to deal with balance.
