Yes but this time it isn't AMD or Cyrix beating INTC

which no sane person would talk about given Intel's marekt share, its the plain facts of the market place. To make money while aggressively cutting prices Intel needs the momentum of an upgrade cycle. They always come out with the better chip that corporations are willing to pay high margins for.

No one sees such a product now and everyone sees a glut of chips at the low end in the market.
