Why is it a shift-back for globalization, that companies plan to build U.S. factories? It's the knowledge on how to build a car that is important these days, not the actual production of it. The actual production is more like a logistical kind of thing - do you want to transport the car or the car parts?

One of the growing laptop makers in Europe is a small company named Zepto. One of their strengths is to assemble the laptops locally, which makes them able to adapt more quickly to market demands. Even with assembly line workers at $6,000 per month, working 37 hours a week, the company is more competitive than those that outsource to China.
