Pandering at its worst...why not just go ahead and nationalize the oil companies? If you're not going to allow them to make profits, any profits they make being returned to the customers, is that not essentially the same thing? Huh......WTF are you all hysterical about? XOM just had its third quarterly profit of $11 billion.....in a row. I don't want to nationalize them but I sure as hell want them to stop receiving subsidies and may be squeeze a few more taxes out of them........you understand; for the good of the nation, comrade. ;-)
