I have watched him for years. He used to be a basic business journalist/anchor. But his ratings starting going downhill. He was desperate for ratings and sensed the mood of the country regarding illegal immigration and job loss overseas. So he ditched the business gig and made himself a populist on those issues. It is all about the ratings, not ideology. His show is now a success and he sells a lot of books. Follow the money, follow the money . .
