Remember Anita Bryant? She said something like "Gays can't reproduce- they recruit". It's why I have ALWAYS hated that recruiting langauge- because what Anita failed to realize is that gay people keep getting born. So really, heterosexuals are renewing the gay population. Once I stopped laughing, I realized you'd made an excellent point.
