He has bought into the meme that Obama is just flowery rhetoric. Please tell me where the logic is in setting an arbitrary time table for withdrawal of troops from Iraq without consideration of conditions on the ground? You aren't a potted plant, surely you can see how imprudent such a commitment would be, no? What happens when you start drawing down troops and al Sadr regains strength -- which could happen? Are we to stand by and allow it? Do you not see the downside in that? Don't you believe ANY American president would be required to act in such a circumstance? Are you going to oppose a THIRD war in in Iraq? Your posts here suggest you are a fairly logical person. What is your logical argument in support of the Obama plan to blindly withdraw troops from Iraq?
